If the rumours are true, all of Mirrodin is afflicted with this sickness. The other Vulshok who only seem to care about the Oxidda Chain are self-absorbed fools, who refuse to acknowledge the bigger picture. If the rest of the world is suffering from this corruption, then surely there's someone out there who's searching for a solution. It's possible that someone has found one already. If they have, you will find them, learn from them and bring their wisdom back to your people.
You have made your decision and you're almost ready to set out on your latest expedition, only this time, you will be seeking knowledge rather than exotic materials. There are just two questions remaining: Where will you go in search of the truth, and will anyone else join you?
You could go to Tel-Jilad. It is the Tree of Tales, found in the heart of the Tangle. It is said that the entire history of Mirrodin is etched on its surface. You could find the truth there but unfortunately, the Elves are fiercely protective of their sacred tree.
You could go to Lumengrid. It is the Seat of the Synod, where the clever Vedalken devote themselves to the pursuit of knowledge. You're not sure how you'll convince them to share their secrets with you, but it's worth a shot.
You could go to Taj-Nar. It is the Ancient Den, the capital city of the Leonin. It serves as the trade hub of the Razor Fields, if not all of Mirrodin. It is also home to the Cave of Light, a holy place of revelation and purification, but will you be welcome there?
You could go to the Mephidross. If this corruption came from anywhere, it had to have come from that poisonous marsh. You have no doubt that it will be dangerous, but there's a good chance that the sickness came from its noxious depths.
You could seek Mirrodin's core. Legend says that Kuldotha, the Great Furnace where the goblins swarm, hides a tunnel that leads to the heart of the world. Few who seek out Mirrodin's core ever return but if the truth can be found anywhere, it's there.
>Go to Tel-Jilad.
>Go to Lumengrid.
>Go to Taj-Nar.
>Go to the Mephidross.
>Seek Mirrodin's Core.
Additionally...
You could go alone. It'll be difficult but you won't have to worry about betrayal or unreliable companions. Also, you won't have to share the glory with anyone else if you actually succeed.
You could be honest with your people. You'll have to deal with a lot of scorn from those who will think that you're abandoning your tribe or going on a fool's errand, but maybe you'll find a couple of kindred spirits.
You could pretend it's an ordinary expedition. You'll definitely attract the most helpers by claiming that you're exploring distant lands in search of rare artifacts and exotic materials. They won't be happy when they discover the truth though.
>Go alone.
>Be honest with your people.
>Pretend it's an ordinary expedition.
