The pathways they were taking widened out, turning into a room that was roughly the size of two peasant hovels with the expected amount of room shared between several living peoples and their steeds. They had stopped in this room, the Scouts having lit a small light that shined on the nearby wall.
Seeing Adok make his way off his cart Lucian left Nightshade behind to join whatever conversation they were all having.
“So, good news,” The head of the Scouts turned over towards the group of Knights and other creatures approaching them with a smile, “We have entered the correct passage. From here we will be able to access most places within the city with an easy walk.”
“As expected of our Cousins!” Adok cheered with a low exclamation of joy, “So whats this chamber able to get to?”
The Dwarf rubbed his hand against the wall and rubbed away dust and other particles that were hiding a series of runes etched into the wall, “It says here that these paths lead us to either the Royal Palace, Vault, Temple, and Forge.”
“This will put us at the heart of these places, no matter where we choose.” Adok pointed out.
“That is correct. From what I was told many of the citizens who fled Karak Kol through these passages were at the last lines of defence. The Royal Throneroom, the Runesmith’s Forge, places like those.” He pointed out with a nodding, “We should figure out if we want to split too. Cover more ground and get the most information we can.”
