Your people seem good enough, not that I don't mind De'lormosa, but my wife and kid died a while back. A man can only live for vengeance so long, and we killed the slavers who dun it. Bein a quartermaster is good, but I think I'd be ready to move somewhere else and start fresh ya feel me?" And that is honestly the most you have ever heard Rongo speak.

"I'll talk to my brother. We'll see." You tell him and you look to your men and then to Rongo

And there are fruits and a nice spring, granted ya can drink the ocean water untill ya in deep ocean. Most the shoals and shallow ocean like round here ya can just straight up drink, specially since Cap and the Ol' man got rid of the mountains of trash. There used to be mountain islands of junk near the horizon, each side- over those way." Rongo motions to the calm serene ocean. Such a thought seems unreal that kind of clean up could occur so fast.

"What happened to it?" You ask him.

"Kolinaisi and the Ol Man made a mess of these flyin contraptions and watchacallits called tree dee printahs and extractas. They flew around turned the junk into useful things and used it for raw material. Normally round this time of year the dumpahs be'd flyin in, and dumpin they trash. But we build them ships, and them platforms- but they left before we did. Nobody knows what happened to them, we think the ganth and them got scared. Of what-" Rongo shrugs.

"So the Bitters?"

"The Bitter Island, it's that one over there. We call this place the black cause of it's sand. Ery one else calls it Bitter shoals."

"Why this place is a paradise?" You say and he laughs and scoffs

"What of the younger you? Do you have advice for them?" You ask him.

"He has things sorted. Older you told me to tell him to not give up hope, and have faith in his brothers. Have faith in his men. In the future, when I got expunged- You took care of them after I fixed the gene flaws. Well most of em. One chapter sort of did their own thing. Though older you has advice for him in the same way too. My advice for him is for him to stay close to you. We were good together." He tells you in a very sincere tone. You realize, that he is hiding something, but it's something you don't want to press. And then he looks at you.

"Much will be asked of you. I cannot begin to describe what will be asked of us, I wasn't there. I jumped through time too much. I failed you brother. Keep to the accord. Maybe, when my time runs out, I can redeem myself." He says and he begins coughing. With that you pause.

"What do you mean?" You ask.

You then hear the high call of Roboute and you see a small fraction of his company come up beside you. And the being then turns to the both of you.

"Tsk." Is all that escapes it's mouth and it makes a click noise and you feel the metal heating up and you instinctually toss the cannon as it explodes.

"I am here brother." Roboute says as his men encircle the being and create a ring for you as you see perturabo run past the both of you and quickly nod before assisting roboute's men in persecution of the invaders.

"It doesn't feel right." Escapes your lips and Roboute looks at you concerned. The being quickly adjusts a few things that have been attached to it, and creates a very large spear with various flare on it. And it begins it's attack, and it is fierce.

"CONTRA FULCO!" Robute shouts and the men move with you as the being, for whatever reason, stays in the circle, as if it has honor. It uses it's spear in a masterful way, and it's hard to track, with whatever is jamming your senses, as electrical signals keep firing. You'd try to drain the mana, but something seems- tainted.

"You aren't your usual self brother!" Roboute says taking a sword and shield stance as he presses forward and the being quickly reverses him and kicks him before turning to you.

"Something is very wrong with it." You say aloud and your voice is shaking. Your body is still rebelling, it's almost like your body is instinctually hiding something from you in order to defend you as you fight. Roboute isn't so effected. Then you hear it.

A small machine spirit voice.

 beware the glass that looks darkly. 

"ROBOUTE" You say grabbing his sword before he lands what was a near perfect blow. And he looks at you as the being kicks roboute to the side.

"ya." The voice says and goes at you, in the same way you went at it when distracted. It begins pressing against you yet keeping the circle unbroken. Your instincts can no longer hide it. And you take of it's helmet.

Through a mirror.

Darkly.

"ROBOUTE. CALL THE SHIP NOW. DEFEAT THE REST OF THE JUDGES AND GET THE GIRLS AND THE MEN TO THE SHIP." You scream as loud as you have ever

"Ko-"

"JUST DO IT!" You shout and perturabo acts also, the men begin a counter charge and Roboute looks at you. Good. Just so long as he doesn't try to look towards you.

"PARATI!" You shout and there is a silence.

Nearby the chainbreakers make some loud noise, and you think they have started to take up commands similar to how you have done. Which is good, it's better than what you thought was controlled chaos being unleashed upon the battlefield. One of your best legionaries comes up with the banner of your people.

"You ready?"

"Aye Sir."

"You sure?"

"For the legion? Always."

"LEGIO! TODAY WE HELP RETAKE AND BATTLE ON A NEW PLANET!" You let out to a set of three stomps with spears.

It almost drowns out the Hakka that is being performed by the Chain Breakers nearby.

"WE NEED TO GET TO THAT FORTRESS. THERE IS A WHOLE SMALL ARMY AHEAD OF US, BUT THE KNIGHTS ARE HELPING WITH THE BIGGER PROBLEMS!" You shout as you step about your men there is a little laughter as they can see the clear progress the knights have made. You then step to the lead and you grab the standard and banner. You see the two knights fight in the distance. One, clearly piloted by Arona simply due to tactics, trips the greater enemy knight and proceeds to attack with impunity.

"THEIR LEADER HAS FALLEN. THEY WILL ATTEMPT TO RETALLIATE. BE CAREFUL." You shout as you power up the weapon of the banner, technically something you aren't supposed to be able to do yet, however- considering you are the ranking officer in a mission of conquest for your people. Your men look stoic and solid. Then a thought occurs. You would show these judges real order.

"WE WILL MARCH STRAIGHT UP TO THAT FORTRESS, IN FORMATION, AND TAKE IT FROM THEM. WE WILL SHOW THEM A REAL FORCE FOR ORDER." And some of the men nod, and what Kolinaisi would say as 'feeling the mana in the air' you can sense the men's spirit rise.

"TALIS EST COMODUM MILES BARBATI!" You shout and you power up the shields and armor given to you, and those around you do likewise. You stomp the banner in a show and a shockwave emanates from it.

The chainbreakers finish their hakka and begin their assault.

"BANDO SEQUUTE!" You shout and everyone readies their weapons then you turn to face your men, who look ready as ever, not a single look of fear on their faces then you call the order.

"EQUALITER AMBULA!" You shout. You are going to conduct this battle in such a way to be shocking to the black judges.

"LEGIO AETERNA!" You shout

"AETERNA VICTRIX!" They respond.

The troops follow a cadence behind you as they follow behind you. You march ahead, with a shocking act of discipline compared to the chainbreakers, a more fluid force nearby. As you slowly advance and call the cadence you conduct your first strike with the banner, striking a black judge and not losing stride whilst continuing the cadence.

Cataloging your small armada of vessels which due to your minor tow rigs and set up is at 12 ships, including one that is technically larger than your own. This has made things easier for storage, but is only really possible due to the teleporter. Which oddly- doesn't cause Perturabo to vomit. These ships have one of a similar design, but less outfitted than the Fierce. You have mostly fighter craft, some strange hybrid craft that seem to be entirely designed for capture of larger ships, some stealth fighter and bomber patterns and something that seems like a pure research ship that will take a long time to investigate. Longer than you have. Perturabo has stated that the ship is quite important and the design is impressive. The problem is as a research platform, it isn't really that practical- but it can have a bunch of the main designs on the fierce reversed engineered into it. Maybe with a little more time it would have been ready as a solid war ship, but not in time for landing on Olympia.

The next big problem for you, the refugees. Handling them, whilst dealing with the captured is difficult. So far it has been a shell game of moving them from ship to ship, and Titus has been a big help. Mostly it's just trying to get them to not eat Jerah's Mokka or other stupid activities. If you had more time to help them, you would, and they may have made a decent fighting force had they gotten some proper training.

But between balancing all activities from looking over the knight with Lancer, it's been hard. In these past 10 days you have slept a grand total of twice.

"Brother! It's time for drills!" Roboute shouts. Meera falls out of your bed, as she has been bunking with you with all the refugees lately.

"Ah!" she yelps as Erihapti, who has grown a little bit more over this trip, follows with her.

And this was during the thing that has taken most of your time.

"Do you even have a concept of time Cap?" Meera says holding on to you,

"Not since I last surfed." You say- half joking and Meera looks at you deadly serious.

"You honestly need to rest Cap. At this rate you are barely going to be able to stand on the eve of battle." Meera has been close by your side these past few days and has helped you as much, if not more than anyone else save little Nasi or Jerah.

"I'll be fine." You say with a yawn.

"Deliah ya can't go. I want to bring ya but you need more recovery after what just happened" You tell her flat out, as you need to keep her on ship because you also need a few good defenders on the ship too.

"Bullshit" she spits out

"And also we need to make sure that someone competent is on board in case anything does happen since we are doing an all hands raid." You tell her to clarify

"That's more believable and you should have led with that." She replies in a slightly kinder tone

"It's Rongo's first time at the helm, this raid is our first real big void raid. You are definetly gonna be ready for Olympia but after everything that happened today and the lack of the people on the ship- your needed here." You tell her and she nods her head.

"I am good with it." She tells you as she begins packing a different load out

"Are you sure?" You ask her, mostly to make sure she feels good about the decision, as you know she will be missed with the rest of your honor guard

"Yes" she says quickly

"Do you want me to have Erihapti here with you?" You say mostly joking and scratching Erihapti behind her ears.

"As much as I love her company you can probably use her more than I can on here." She says quickly patting Erihapti on the head.

"Ok. I am gonna call a hands meeting for my brothers so we can- talk to the man that created me real quick..." You let out in a sigh

"You found them?" Deliah exclaims.

"Ya. Well we did a while ago we just didn't know it." You say shrugging holding the Comm and pointing to it.

"I always knew Epsilon was kinda different. What does that make Alpha?" She asks and you have to think about it.

"I hope he is another brother, but we can't know till I ask." You tell her, not really sure either way.

"True that. You think about what ya gonna take on this raid?" She asks as you look through your gear

"A buncha force fields, my daggers and some more protection focused equipment. Who knows what's on that asteroid and what the ganth got cooked up." You tell her.

"Sounds like a good idea." She says.

You then have Roboute and Perturabo meet up with you in the comm suite.

"Are you sure? You saw him?" Roboute asks

"Ya. It was the man from the footage." You say and Perturabo looks puzzled.

"You have more footage of him? I only had a slight repeating image." Perturabo says.

"Yeah, but, I don't think exactly now is the time for it." You say

"Actually now is as good a time as any to be fair brother, maybe it's good he knows before talking to him." Roboute responds, and it's he isn't wrong, even with what limited time you have. So you play the holo vid.

"SHE WHAT?!" Perturabo's reaction seems perfectly in character and normal for him in such a circumstance.

"It get's worse every time I watch it." You say and Roboute nods
