>>6046781Someday Ruby Knife, someday. And sweet, we don't have to worry about Sala being a Chrono Trigger that keeps us from returning to our home timeline where Sachie exists!
For Now.>>6046827Can't unsee, thank you.
>>6045162>I'm not sure what led som anons to that conclusion.Sala and Hado are expies of the main characters from Radical Dreamers, which is a visual novel that Chrono Cross expanded on. The majin we fought was similar to the villain of Chrono Cross, which was merely a coincidence before their name was revealed and looked into and then confirmed.
>>6046784>“...Yes.” Zelos admits. “Though I could only recruit one. And finding one that would side with me rather than Yalbadoth will be tricky… at least, among the denizens of Heaven and the Kais.” He’s contemplative about this. “…It will require some more thought. I will need to investigate potential targets.”I can think of one being, but I don't think we're wise to her existence yet. Sala might have that well in hand though.
So from what I gather, Day Passes are given to souls for them to travel to other realms and not have their forms die, but this need for one can be bypassed so long as there is an opening between the realms. Could be a sword propping a gate open, could be a Janemba portal, could be necromantic miasma, or it could be the IT Zone allowing for a quick in-and-out to punch Bojack.
But, I propose there is another way the Day Pass could be used: It can allow for a soul to inhabit a body.
If a deceased soul doesn't have a body in their dead state, and won't get a new body because that soul is despised by the current celestial administration (Yalbadoth has the pull to rez his Archons), then it follows that a Day Pass won't grant the gods' enemy a body and certainly not one strong enough to challenge the gods. It will merely allow for their soul to go to a certain realm for a day, if they have a body to do it with. Since Otherworld won't give us a body for them to use,
we could volunteer for a day! But as a last resort though.
