Mai split the cards into three smaller decks and set them face-down in front of you. <span class="mu-s">“Okay Nanako, you know the drill. Past, present, future. Let’s see if I can’t get it right this time! Choose one card from each deck and put it face down in front of you.”</span>
You were pretty used to this by now, and selected one card from each pile, neither of you seeing what was chosen. <span class="mu-s">"First up, past. It's the... high priestess,"</span> Mai said as she flipped over the card. <span class="mu-s">"A period of self-reflection, and inactivity."</span>
<span class="mu-s">"Sounds like when I was in the hospital,"</span> you say, and the twins both paused to glance back up at you. <span class="mu-s">"I had a lot of time to think back then, that's all."</span>

You smiled toward Emi at the admittance, knowing that both of them had probably been quite worried about you during that time. <span class="mu-s">"I'm glad to have friends like you two,"</span> you said, the twins sharing a small moment before Mai continued.
The sound of the door opening caught your attention, but you were focused in on the tarot cards as Mai flipped over the middle, one. <span class="mu-s">"Your present- death. Something is coming to an end."</span>
<span class="mu-s">"Yeah, our summer break,"</span> a new voice broke in, and the three of you glanced up to see Yoshimura approaching. He grinned as he approached, practically hopping along as he came to the table. <span class="mu-s">"Oh nice, I'm in time for one of Mai's readings."</span>
