I was thinking about putting in a custom request for a new breed of creature. One that had DNA from axolotls to regrow limbs, bear hibernation and an outer skin made out of chitin made to grow like Limpet teeth (it's weird, but it is super strong apparently) and asexual reproduction so each one of them can lay new eggs.
The point of such a creature? To have it as a mount for military personnel, as both a pet and a protector. Where it bonds with its owner close to its after hatching, having very strong protective instincts for said owner. And you could have new ones be born whenever a family member joined the military.
It would hibernate when on long interstellar journeys, and would also act as pets/companions for their owners when not out on a battlefield.
Pic is how I would imagine it to look. I know it's a warrior bug and Xenomorph put together, but I think the design also just looks neat. (With/Without the hands in the pic depending on what Uriah might do while fucking around within his lair)
