<exclamation>If you're out there, we aren't-
The Hive stops, cycling through a variety of things to yell; from having a chain full of whoopass, to 'going to wait for you to show yourself', to 'not afraid of you any more!!'. In the end you get a stunted exclamation, but it was loud, and hopefully that is enough.
You quickly shut the Hallway Door, and move into the Wood.
...
Nothing gets the drop on you, and the Van is thankfully not deep in.
It's humming on idle. You notice that the door is sealed from the outside, a few mechanized bars sealing it off. In front of the Van is a very antsy wooden puppet, whose entire demeanor changes on your arrival.
>"Sir! You're here--What in the heck, why are you covered in blood."

<statement>Computer virus.
JJ pauses, and decides to let it go. It probably helps she can't smell it either, and shows you the goods.
>"Charlie left a half hour ago, something is going on deep in the Wood, she said she couldn't miss it, armed up and left. She seemed weirdly excited."

>"She took a portion of my arm to study, and talked almost all day. Sometimes to me, mostly to herself. It took her an hour to make the hands, the rest she spent hunched over her guns and books.
>"That and her computer monitor. There uh... She has a lot of experiments, and some of them are very scary. And bloody."
You don't really need her to elaborate, Charlie owned up to all that pretty vocally. JJ has hands and is well, so this part of the Night is a success.
<statement>She did what she promised, so long as she's good by us, that's her business. We should hurry back, the Shadow will come soon.
