Herta did recruit Aila for childcare, but it remains to be seen whether seen whether she'll allow anyone else near *her* kids specifically unsupervised (if she doesn't, it's going to be really awkward).
She is definitely going to be a ferocious mama bear and anyone who gets between her and her kids can start counting down their remaining life expectancy on their fingers. In fact, given the cliches the world has been built around, I half-expect that if she ever needs to leap into action against a major threat to save her children, she'll undergo some kind of rage-driven divine transformation and become unstoppably powerful.
