>>5345961"That's where a little thing called synergy comes in!" Ivalera points to the next item about to be shown.
"While it doesn't seem like much, everyone should be able to confront those trolls withous spellcasting, and synergise well with each other's abilities. First off is Serpico's hood and sword." Schierke hands Farnese's knight a green cloth that covers his torso, and a giant feather with a handle on it's end.
"Are they floating on their own?" Serpico is curious at how the piece glided to his hands, without him having to throw it or even move his arms for it to flail about.
"Please take a closer look."
"Hm? Oh, I can see something inside the fabric... Are those wind elementals?" You observe the vivid shapes of insect like spirits swerving on his vest.
"Exactly! For each of the four states inherent to the physical world -Solid, Liquid, Vapor and Energy- there should be a resonant equivalent for the elementals of the astral wordl - Earth, Wind, Water and Fire-. For Serpico's elemental choice, he shall wear the Sylph Hood, protected by the atmospheric currents to swipe aside every sword and arrow that come his way. And with the Sylph Sword to his side, he shall generate a whirlwind with a single swing that can tear the enemy's flesh without even touching it."
"Are you sure that this is a sword? Seems more like a feather duster to me..."
"It was made from a white-shouldered eagle's feather, and the hilt from mistletoe growing on the highest branches from the forest."
"...Where do you find these materials? I have searched so far and found a grand total of nothing to protect my team..."
"As good as your lessons in magics were, Vlad, they don't teach you how to scavenge through the land as well as someone as experience as my master..." Schierke proudly beams, feeling confident from showing something that managed to surprise you.
"Can I try swinging it a few times?"
"Of course!"
Serpico valiantly slashes at the air, in the general direction of a lit candle. While the wind took an extra second to reach it, the current of elementals managed to send a strong enough gust to light the fire out of the candle, letting the nearby leaves fly onto the air as the top half of the candle fell off on it's own.
"Quite handy indeed."
"Think of the damage this will do with a rain of steely feathers..." Hyde and Serpico think out loud.
"Badass! Where's mine!? Where's mine!?" Isidro chastises Schierke as she hands him a dagger and a pouch.
"EEEEH?! Why can't I get a sword or a spear?"
"We have no arms for children." She replies as the bandit stares at the red, glowing dagger.
"What are these squirming things crawling on it? Is it dirty?"
"Those are salamanders! The Salamander dagger is magically crafted from molten lava. Cuts made with that dagger will ignite and burn as hot as if struck as a hot iron."
Isidro demonstrates it's power by chucking it's tip against the talbe, nearly setting the rest of the weapons on fire with a blazing burst.
