There's other stuff like true Disintegration pistols in 40k but I gather those are beyond the reach of Lucius right now and giving them flamers and melta pistols is mostly a lack of time and resource compromise.
Yet another thing that would be nice to upgrade once we get to Mars.
So hard to find the time to tinker and tweak things when fighting for survival and existence!
