“I am a servant of the Machine God, foul thing!” shouted Quintin as he readied his sword, “I will not let you win!”
The creature gave a hearty laugh as he reached over to pick up one of the risen corpses. The Nullificator Lord watched as the corpse somehow appeared like a loving pet in the hands of the great giant, with the giant petting its head for a moment in some foul display of affection. It was then the Great Unclean One gave a fiendish grin and tossed the corpse right at Quintin.
The swordsman tried to cut the corpse but he was no transhuman. Quickly he was thrown across the room with the full weight of a desecrated corpse sending him to the ground. He heard a beautiful laugh from the giant as several of the undead quickly went over Quintin in an attempt to eat out his guts. The Pariah fought and fought even as broken pains from his hip flared up into his body.
It was dire but he also knew that his duty was finished.
Over the sounds of deathly moans and shutters was the roar of gunfire. A monstrous roar came from the Daemon as bullets were sent flying. Quintin watched as the zombies that surrounded him were cut down and slaughtered like the animals they were.
<span class="mu-s">“Damn you creatures, you… you spawn!”</span> Roared the Daemon as he threw his bell into a group of Pariahs that instantly sealed three of their fates.
But it was too late for that as Quintin finally broke free to see uncountable amounts of Nulls surrounding the Daemon firing into him. He was screaming and killing those who got close, but every second he stayed there his corporeal form wavered.
It was then Quintin saw his look of complete horror before his entire body collapsed into itself.
He lost consciousness right then, knowing it was finally safe to do so.
