"My my. Young man Silver really did it. Quite impressive. Oh and speaking of Emperors, I almost forgot I had this stolen from Big Moms vaults!"
Brook produces a rubbing of the road poneglyph he managed to make.
"I guess that's what happens when you no longer have a brain yoho!"
"Silvers are scary! Silvers are scary!"
"Silvers are scary! Silvers are scary!"
Nami and Chopper muttered in unison as they silently swore to each other that they'll never EVER engage that mad crew of monsters and if Luffy gets any funny ideas they'll strap him down and euthanize him.
Speaking of which.
"Hmmmmmm. How did you get that strong Sissy? Yosh! Instead of Big Mom I'll have to kick his ass after Kaido! Hmph!"
"B-But Luffy."
"What's that Chopper?"
"When you punched Big Mom she flicked you away like a fly."
Chopper spoke with snot overflowing his nostrils.
"Bah! Details! Anyway I'm hungry! SANJI! Hmmm? Sanji?"
The cook is absent from the party, instead he bought himself a spare copy of the paper and took it inside alongside the breakfast he prepared for his wife.
"Pudding-chan? Are you awake?"
"I am now. What's all that ruckus outside?"
"I'm... terribly sorry. I know it's not much but I thought I'd prepare you a decent meal. To ease the pain."
He hands over the news to her.
"If you need anything then just tell me."
As she unfurls the paper Puddings three eyes all water up an she breaks out in tears. Her new husband is quick to embrace her and tell that it's going to be fine. But he still does not realize that his wife does not share his sentiment. Pudding does not cry tears of sorrow but tears of relief and joy. They both lived through a childhood of pain and abuse at the hands of their respective parents. But where Sanjis still felt a deep familial connection to his father and swore vengeance against Silver for what he's done Pudding is secretly thanking him for ridding the world of that monster she called mother. For no matter how strong of an attachment she had to Big Mom every time she tries to feel sad for the passing of her mother all she can remember is the alienation, the insults, the isolation and the hateful psychopath that Linlin forged her into. Even now she can't fully express the genuine love she feels towards the first man who showed affection to her after the reveal of her true nature. And for that Pudding will never ever forgive her mother.
