“Of course. However, it only works once before disappearing.” he replies. “So, whenever you're ready, give it-”
But before he's finished speaking she's already blowing into it, the instrument creating a surprisingly melodic tune all on its own as no one's taught your daughter to play.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kOj6vJCV6FI“Wow, that was pretty!” she exclaims as she pulls the flute away from her lips, only for it to dissolve into motes of white light. Which all begin coalescing into a larger figure, one much like the other Kuriboh she'd crushed. However, as it begins taking color, you notice it has a pair of pure white avian wings sprouting from it's back, the creature letting out an almost purring noise upon seeing your daughter. “Woah! This one has wings!”
“A winged Kuriboh? I've never heard of anyone summoning a winged Kuriboh on their first try.” he says, sounding shocked as Meloka Wolbach gently hugs the fuzzy creature to her face. Who doesn't seem to mind one bit, flapping its wings once. “She seems to like you.”
“I'mma name you.... Furufurumarin!” she exclaims, the creature seemingly smiling with its eyes and letting out a strange, almost purr-like call.
“That's a good name.” your wife tells her, you having your slight misgivings about such a mouthful. However, you know that you'll have to remember all that, committing the six-syllable word to memory. “I like it.”
“Furfurman!” your son Kazuburo calls out, butchering the pronunciation as only a child learning to speak can. Causing your daughter to laugh, trying to teach her little brother how to say it right for a moment. Before you speak up, turning to Alimar.
“So, are you ready?” you ask him, the younger wizard turning to you. “Ready to light them up?”
“I can, but... What about the blast?” he asks you, sounding nervous. “That many going off will cause an explosion with a scale that... That I've never seen.”
“Take a more careful look at the plain down there. Look at its shape.” you reply, gesturing to the plain his creatures are levitating over. He does, confusion on his face as he looks from side to side. But you can see the moment he realizes it, how this area doesn't fit the rest. Almost as if it were carved away by a giant's spoon. “Now, tell me. Do you think your blast will be THAT big?”
“What...Made that?” he asks, turning to you with wide, awed eyes. To which you can't help but smirk.
“Don't you know? You fought him today.” you reply, Alimar's eyes widening in realization. To which you feel your smirk widen. “My dad's quite strong, even without magic like us.”
