Of course, I did not let that deter me as I traveled to the island of Blickery, pressed on by curiosity and desire to know more.
[MAJORDOMO] "You know somehow I feel like there's better places to go touring, for once."
[JOCO] "You know what, I agree! It's so bleak and boring there! There's no color! Well, except for the sky. Cuz it's blue... Wait, no. Even that's going away."
[MAJORDOMO] "What are you, stupid? You can't take the skies color awa- Wait! Hold on a second... Munny, stop!"
I came grinding to a halt on the water I was skating across, midway to the island of Blickery.
'What is it?'
[MAJORDOMO] "Look... up!"
I looked up, and I was puzzled by what I saw.
The sky, split in a skein around the island. Light itself bent, denied and as I went further, the Sun crossed into it, and vanished.
'What? But... But why...? What kind of spell is this...?'
[MAJORDOMO] "The 'maybe let's not go there' spell."
[JOCO] "The 'getting KILLALL two point oh vibes here' spell."
[MAJORDOMO] "Good point. Have you thought maybe seeking out the BEAST. GODDESS... is not a good idea, Munny? Oh you know, she's just the source of all Beastkin. The one who sends them out to kill and ravage for fun."
'I wasn't expecting what KILLALL did then. I let my guard down because he seemed... so much weaker than me.' I excused. 'I won't let my guard down this time. And if I feel in danger, I will just warp back to the mainland... the curse shouldn't be able to stop me from leaving whenever I want.'
[JOCO] "What if it does?"
[MAJORDOMO] "Insanity is raising a good point over here."
'...'
I continued towards Blickery regardless.
Morwenna... the Beast Goddess, and Goddess of the Outcasts... I wanted to know more about her, any way I could. To mark her for a potential target for Redemption in the future. To know what availed Beastkin. To get an idea of how they could all be Redeemed... and Blickery's morass could end...
