If I might comment based on my experience putting a quest together, I find it interesting that this quest, Fate/Blood Moon, and to a certain degree Akeldama Redux and Fate/Bond (and also the cockblocking tree quest Fate/Overgrowth from a number of years ago) emphasize(d) the lead up to the War and the players’ selection of the Servant. In my planning, there’s very little “chargen” and we jump right into the day of the summoning. The real kicker, which I think will result in me getting significant pushback, is that the players’ Servant is predetermined, which I was forced to conclude was necessary in order to tell the story that I think would make the most sense.
