>>5396828The improved strength, agility, and size of its lesser predators have caused selection pressure to escalate for the Double Mouther population. Luckily for them, their large size, dual mouths, and tail fin are powerful adaptions and its status as apex predator is still unchallenged. Unluckily for their prey, their tongues have grown in length and flexibility, which makes escape an even narrower possibility for those they’ve caught. If the Flounder Feeders were capable of thought, it’s likely they would be frightened of the Double Mouthers’ sheer reach and speed.
