Hey, sorry about that everyone. I'm still under the weather but doing better than yesterday. Still should have said something sooner, but kept trying to finish this up.
Anyway, this'll be the last of the thread, with a little something more after the main post. We're back:
>>5667035You get your sketchpad out, smiling at your girlfriend. “Cocoaaaaa. Come on. Out with it. What’s up?” You start sketching up a rough little picture of your brother, with Phantasma on one side of him, Pantea on the other. “I mean, we coooould always just kinda ask ‘em directly. But figure it’s more fun to watch it play out, right?” You show off the little sketch you made to her. “I’m not exactly gonna get in the way of my brother hooking up with a cute ghost girl if that’s where he’s leaning.”
“See… I dunno if this is the whole picture.” Cocoa comments. “Might be missing… a certain blonde in that group. To the side of Pantea.”
“...Izzy might be friends with Pantea but she isn’t really- OH. Oh, yeah.” Riiiight. “Yeah she did seem to have a preference. I dunno if Pantea’s been all that receptive though.” Still, you start to sketch out one more figure, Sala, looking towards Pantea.
“Dunno, she didn’t exactly seem willing to turn her down. Or maybe Pantea’s not… really picked up on the hints yet.” Cocoa adds in a small voice.
You awkwardly laugh, rubbing the back of your neck. “W-well, a-anyway! No guarantee what their futures hold, right? Even with their counterparts, doesn’t mean the their paths are set in stone.”
Cocoa nods, but seems to be thinking over something as she does. “...Wonder if any of them went to see Fortuneteller Baba after the stuff at Dream Land…”
You put your sketchbook down, smiling at her. “Remember what she said, though? It’s up to us to make those futures a reality.” Next you rest your head on her shoulder. “That last one we saw especially.”
Your girlfriend blushes and giggles, patting you on your head. “You really do know how to be a romantic, don’t you? Still… that’d be nice.” With a cheeky smile, she adds, “Especially since I’ll still be the taller one.”
“H-hey! I’m still growing!” you declare with a pout. “I’m at 152 cm now! That’s taller than my mom!”
“And at 154.5, I’m still taller~” she teases. You huff, and she pokes your cheek. “Love ya.”
You relax a bit more, smiling as you keep your head on her shoulder. “Love ya too.”
“Stay safe on your trip there, Peppa.” she adds.
“Always. And hey, might even find something cool to take back to ya!”
