...In the meantime, you've spent your time getting back into shape. After your climatic battle with the Viking, in which you almost died, you've had to take things slow and recover. The drugs from the city's admittedly very good, free healthcare helped a lot, but even then didn't totally fix everything; the rest would take time. You lost a few teeth and almost had your jaw fractured, though you were kindly given immediate replacements and have no trouble chewing anymore. The punch to your side was much worse; causing significant internal damage and organ bruising, fracturing your rib, and causing a constant pain whenever trying to run, bend, or lift weights. This put a serious damper on your training and rehabilitation. Thankfully, the Mask not being needed on Level 5 any more meant you could give it time to heal. But now? You're back to normal.
You train in the garage, feeling good. You strike at your dummies and twirl your tonfas, the sweat and smell of good-health give you motivation to continue. As far as you can fathom, you are about as physically strong as you can get given your genetics, diet, and age allow. You've reached a plateau and you won't be able to get any more out of regular training. It's nothing to be ashamed of. And besides, given Level 5's criminal undercurrent of punk culture? You proved yourself the strongest on the whole level. I mean, you beat the Viking didn't you? Maybe you should feel a little proud.
While you are almost fully recovered completely, and reached a natural stopping point, you feel as though trying to optimize your body just a few more percentage points, using up the last few excess bit of calories and protein you can squeeze out of your low-impact lifestyle, you might be able to shift the needle just ever so slightly. If you can improve yourself just a little bit more; what would you like to focus on?
>Strike just a little bit harder and take down foes faster
>Jump just a little bit higher and be more agile
>Be just a little bit tougher and more resilient to pain
