+Simply take shots of their leave.+ TalOS declared as he looked at the fleeing for with a sense of both annoyance and anger, +The enemy knows we exist and we have much more bountiful harvests now.+
+Commandment sent.+ Declared the Adept as he leaned into the systems, +Do you wish to deploy boarding parties or wait until their ultimate deaths by suffocation?+
+I wish for both Prisoners and Meat for the Acillians to process and learn from.+ TalOS declared as he tapped his Command Throne with a perfect tempo, +Have my Sons retrieve the Omophage units from their armory. I give any above the rank of Decarii to start the consumption and processing of the flesh into information.
+The order has been issued.+ Responded the Adept as the noosphere network allowed that data to be transported almost instantly across the fleet.
+Good, good…+ TalOS said to himself before placing his hands above his chest and making the sign of the cog, +Thank you Machine God for the success that we enjoyed here today. Without your guidance and knowledge what happened here today will never have happened.+
The words of TalOS went through the bridge without error and into the sensory organs of those present. A man so brilliant yet he humbly presents himself to the Machine God at something some less faithful would argue was all his doing.
Some might have before given the Arch Dominus flake for not conforming to the more spartan style of emotions, but these moments made many realize why such a man would keep them.
With emotion a man can present to the Machine God his entire force of devotion. That every word spoken held in it not cold calculation but a heartfelt honesty that warmed even the most mechanical heart.
A minute after the command was issued a series of troop transport and fighter craft left the hulls of the cruisers and into space to inspect and go through the rubble.
The Battle of Mutual Contact at the end counted a total of eight Cruisers and all of the enemy’s Destroyers abandoned in the void. For the Mechanicum one Cruiser and three Destroyers were lost in return. Such results were something any void admiral would want but TalOS knew it was an injury that they did not want against a fully prepared foe.
