"What?" She asks you.
"You just said something weirdly thoughtful."
"Huh? I did?" She asked. "I mean, of course I did!" You didn't respond.
Herta was the type that loved getting embarrassed, so she might seem like the type to not have many regrets. But you knew that she was often didn't think things through, like how she didn't care enough to look into this world she created and had so many worshipers in. She could be stupid and careless, but she could be smart in certain subjects.
Thinking about her, you smoothly walked beneath her statue and, after carefully removing a part of her skirt and looking in just the right angle, you found spot of hair in the shape of a heart, right above where her secrets would be.
"Hey, Master." Herta pouted. "I'm right here, you know, if you want to use me or look at me, you can always have me. I'm the real thing..."
"Oh? Are you telling me I can't appreciate my own creation?" You asked with an authoritative tone as you put things back to how they were, hiding the 'heart' of Herta. This was the secret of the statue, and none but you and the goddess to know about it. "I wanted to make sure it was accurate to how I saw you in heaven, in all of your maso-bitch glory." You gave your 'reason'.
"Uh." Herta seemed at a loss of words. Though from the redness in her cheeks and the look in her eye, you could tell your words made her happy.
"And to think, just a few minutes ago you sounded so intelligent." You continue 'lamenting'.
"But- that's-! I mean, as the Goddess of Artifice, I know just the right thing to say! Don't you worry, Master, we'll be together forever~!"
You're about to ask what she meant by that, when Ayane suddenly decided to approach you two.
"Master." She bows to you. "Herta." She acknowledges your goddess.
"Hey Ayane. What's happening?" You say. She'd been meditating for around an hour, something which impressed Gerty enough to have her take a break as well.
"Merely speaking with you is a happening that can satisfy a woman's heart, Master." She smiled sweetly. "But on a closer subject, how are those spiders faring?"
"They're doing pretty well." You almost forgot that you'd come here to check up on them in The Clank's Shelter, but got caught up in observing how things were going around here.
"Well, I'm happy to see you here, Master." Ayane said. "Though this place has a peaceful tone, I can't help but be overjoyed." She smiled, then turned to you. "I can say I don't have any regrets with pride."
"That reminds me of when I told Master about how Aneko..." Herta suddenly stopped, glancing at your face. She must've noticed you looking at her. You mouthed off a silent 'no'.
"What about Aneko?" Ayane asked, her curiosity piqued.
"I mean, she's gonna have a nice afterlife!" Herta not-so-smoothly said. She began to sweat. "Uh, yeah. We're gonna miss her." You're not sure if Herta knows what Aneko looked like. "And I bet she was supper happy to see you one last time and know you're alright."
