The two seasoned mages cast their respective Luna spells, and you back away from the doomed man at the last second. Diogenes is engulfed in two overlapping pillars of white light that grow white hot. You turn away from the scene, blinded by the sheer brightness of the attack. Though you do not witness the damage that it deals, you can hear Diogenes screaming at the top of his lungs and feel the heat emanating from where he was standing. The Sage’s copies begin disintegrating as the pillars beam down on their master, and when they finally dissipate, Diogenes is sitting on his knees, either dead or as close to dead as can be.

After witnessing the explosive display before you, you quickly fall on your back. You momentarily pass out for what seems like a few seconds, only to open your eyes to see a bloody Corrine staring down back at you.
“Are you still with us?” She asks you, concern evident on her face even as she’s battling her own wounds. Her healing stave is clutched in-between her arms.
>“I must be. This doesn’t look like heaven.” Your sister lifts you up to your feet. Corrine must have restored you back to health in the brief moment you were passed out, as you can no longer feel the poison running its course through your body. Scanning the room, your allies are tending to the wounds they received using their vulneraries and elixirs.
