It is the year 0076 of the Universal Century. A half century has passed since the earth began moving its burgeoning population into gigantic orbiting space colonies. A new home for mankind, where people are born and raised… and die.
“We are the people of the universe. We have struggled to survive in a harsh environment, and new generations of colonists testify to our success. Now, when we gaze back at Earth, we see a sacred blue and green orb- the cradle of civilization and a sacred home that we must eternally preserve and protect . . .”

Zeonic Corporation New Factory A, Side Three (Republic of Zeon)
The thrumming and clanking of machinery sounds all about you, and a faint smell of oil and ozone hangs in the air. The reinforced titanium interior of Zeonic’s new factory is vast, dark green and gray bombproof walls surrounding line after line of robotic machine tools and partially assembled mobile suits. The production lines stretch far off into the distance, disappearing into the factory’s cavernous and deep interior. It’s a recent expansion of Zeonic’s production facilities, and it shows. Nearly everything is gleaming and new, paint jobs in pristine condition and little sign of wear or use yet on the factory floor. You smile, glad to see that the factory is in such excellent condition - The mass production of the Zaku is finally beginning, and with a few of Vivima’s recommendations integrated as well if the engineers guiding you through the facility are to be believed.
You relax a little in your wheelchair as it is pushed along, the gunshot wound to your leg is still not fully healed enough to allow for extended periods of walking. It’s a guard pushing you today, Mink is back at Zum still. Nearby Vivima and Casval are in wheelchairs of their own - It would be a funny sight if it weren’t so depressing, you all really got shot to hell fighting off the assassins a few weeks ago. Viv nearly died from the blood loss, but she bounced back quickly. Cas has fared about the same. They’re both past the worst of it and finding plenty of energy to speak, and Viv has been putting the Zeonic staff who were scrambled out to greet you through their paces. Surprise inspections are fun.
The bald headed man guiding you through the factory speaks quickly, fidgeting a bit with a clipboard and obviously nervous, “The engineering teams working on the next generation of Zaku were thrilled by the challenge of your plan, Lady Vivima. Y-you can see that some changes have already been made to current Zaku production. Look over there at the eye sensors on line two.”
“That fast?” Dozle rumbles curiously before Vivima can respond, absolutely dwarfing the short bald engineer as he walks beside him, “Oh ho ho. Excellent.”
