“You!” Ubo seethes, crimson aura immediately blazing as he drops the Dragon Balls he'd kept a hold of. “You have a lot of nerve coming here. Come to try and finish what you started?”
“Okira, take your friend and re-gather those Dragon Balls, please.” you tell her telepathically, setting them down then Ascending in a burst of sparks, ready to intervene should the two start attacking each other. She nods, immediately understanding and taking off with the smaller Namekian back towards the village.
“If I wanted you dead, I'd have shot you from orbit.” King Cold replies, voice icy yet dripping with menace. “But if you WANT to die, I'd be most pleased to oblige.”
“BASTARD!” Ubo bellows, aura blazing in response to his anger. But you've had enough, dashing between them while activating your Energy Body, holding one hand out towards each of them.
“That's enough, both of you!” you say, feeling both of their ire suddenly directed towards you. But it does the trick, Ubo's blazing anger and King Cold's icy fury both subside, the two powering back down and lowering their aggression. Slightly. “Ubo, I invited him here. To have you two enter in an unbreakable alliance.”
“Unbreakable?” Ubo asks, seeming confused. “What do you mean?”
So you explain how Divine Dragon Force's Dragon's Pact works to both of them, using your time using it on Lobo and what happened when he tried to betray you.
“Wait, the consequences can be up to death?” Ubo asks you seriously. “Death? Really?”
“Interesting. The consequences of breaking the pact are something we both can agree on.” King Cold says, raising a hand to his chin and stroking it as he thinks. “I believe that mutually-assured destruction is the best deterrent, wouldn't you say?”
“I have a better idea.” Ubo says, a dangerous gleam in his eye. “Breaking the pact strips one of their powers and strength. Reducing their maximum might to a powerlevel of five and removing ALL of their ki and any other abilities.”
Your jaw drops, stunned at Ubo's idea. Being stripped of your powers and left unable to fight, or even protect yourself? That would be worse than death. You look to King Cold, who also seems equally stunned by this declaration.
