Even she wasn't sure on how she managed to get caught up there. But apparently it happened after a bunch of goblins ambushed her and the clankers. The robots seemed to be in much worse condition than you thought, but they could be dismantled for a bit of scrap. But keeping them as turrets could be helpful if you wanted to set up camp here in the future to invade the goblins...
