TalOS stood upon Deck R in anticipation with Legion Master Vadar standing next to him. The Astartes were standing at full attention as they awaited the arrival of his fellow. When the doors of the ship opened the first to come out was a procession of Acillians and Astartes who all sported the blackened armor which held a red stripe upon the top of it.
They were all Crusaders who were bloodied by the wars of the Mitu Collective. None would dare deny the right to wear such colors to the men of TalOS. It was quite something though to TalOS as he noticed that even while the Acillians and Astartes were apart, even their armor might be seen as casted in the same iron.
+Father.+ Mitarii AL4N gave a bow to the Sanctus Dominus with all the heart that he could muster, +It is my honor to stand before you once again. I thank you for this invitation back to the Fortress.+
+You are welcome at any time AL4N.+ TalOS announced as he looked upon his son with a phantom smile, +I have heard a great many things of your battles on the outer edges, following through with the Astartes to cut off the Mitu’s escape and allowing a battle to become a massacre. Have you met with the other trials that were placed before you?+
+I have Father. I have brought back to you victory in all forms that could be made.+ AL4N announced with a small bit of theatrics with his voice.
TalOS gave his son a nod and then a beckoning hand, +Come, there are matters that must be discussed between the Father and his sons.+
AL4N looked over to see the Astartes Vadar who had held himself silent for so long throughout the conversation. TalOS noted that the Acillian gave a nod to his fellow to which the Astartes gave a firm one back to him.
That was enough to satisfy the Acillian as he spoke, +Lead the path, Father.+
With those words TalOS began the journey towards his private sanctum. It had been a few years since he had last talked to his son and now was the time to catch up as well as determine a great many things.
The future of the Legion will be made here today after all.
