After Chaya's declaration accepting the Tuffle parasite Baby's challenge publicly, Karn and Meloka learned of the fates of Bardock, Leyas and Sarada. Warning their people and allies of the threat, Karn warning Broly and Chilli directly before facing his eldest-born and even being bested in one-on-one combat by Chilli's magics. After this Karn learned more of the Room of Spirit and Time from Mr. Popo, telling Chaya this telepathically. Where she told him she would let him know her plans tomorrow, that she would rest and figure out her plan to train for the month, then tell you once she's ready. So, as we rejoin Karn, you've ended the link with Chaya, standing face-to-face with who was once the being who'd killed most of your family.
“So, I take it she's not immediately rushing headlong into the chamber?” Mr. Popo, the being formerly known as Dumplin says more than asks. “That is good, seems she's learned to look ahead and consider her options. When you both are ready, let me know. But for now you should go, spend time with that family you're so determined to protect.”
“Right. I appreciate this.” you tell him, the two of you sharing a nod before walking to the edge of the Lookout, allowing yourself to fall right off the side. Falling headfirst towards the ground, building speed as you approach only to turn the dive into flight, soaring mere feet above the treetops. Soaring through the skies of this planet Earth, leaving the Lookout behind and returning to your family. Who're all still in the frozen north of this world, but as you fly down to them, everyone's gathering around your wife. So you drop down as well, curious what's going on. Only to immediately hear the growl of someone's stomach the moment your boots hit the snow.
“Dad! There you are, let's go home!” Karn Jr calls out to you, rushing over. “We're hungry, let's go eat!”
“Yeah, let's go back home!” Kayle adds in.
“I would like to go home as well, I have seen enough for today.” Okira adds, all of your children present in seeming agreement.
“Very well, let's go home.” you reply, reaching out telepathically first to your granddaughter Marron. “Hey kiddo, we're heading back. Going to stay here awhile or head back with us?”
“Go on ahead without me, I'm going to be helping my people settle in.” she replies, you seeing a flash of what she's seeing, helping one of the few elderly survivors move a few things around inside a living space. “And tell Haathe thanks for everything for me, will you?”
“Of course.” you reply, ending the link. Leaving only one question:
