I've been working on a new concept for drawquests- taken from VNs; working with static pre-made backgrounds or likely characters in poses, and simply posing them with transparency in your completed images for the sake of faster and easier updating.
Obviously this isn't obviously a new thing- however I feel a certain degree of "authenticity" and ability to "tell the story" through images is lost by relying on this kind of style- the obvious benefit being the ease of updating once a Quest is running the more you set up in advance.
