‘But—!’
‘Irinnile,’ you say, “I invoke your true name, demon, and I bind you and command you by—’
‘Okay! Okay!’ she relents.
The succubus’ presence is barely detectable, even with effort, for the rest of the return trip to The Pretty Kitty. It is, perhaps, the quietest your mind has been in weeks.
…Maybe even a little lonely.
When you return, Mina is waiting for you, albeit with a certain aloof and casual air.
“I see you skipped out on clean-up again,” she says.
You smile, and say “But not on work. May I sspeak with you in your officce?”
When you and the cat-woman are alone, you reveal some—though certainly not the seedier and more criminal elements—of your activities.

You nods, smug in your efficiency. “Their besst talent will be pouring in here looking for work—watch!”
“I thought out plan was to hire more ‘exotics’, not humans?” she asks.
“Why not both?” you shrug.
“Money,” she says frankly. “COIN, Kamunu. How will I pay them all?”
You hesitate to reply. Your other ideas—renovations, new furniture new signage… They’ll all take coin as well. With more talent, and with Goldenrod undercut as well, that coin will surely flow into TPK’s coffers… But perhaps not immediately.
How do you suggest Mina deal with it?
