There was a short silence, as you heard Chrys speak softly. "Please don't run. Please don't run. Please don't run." Fortunately, it didn't seem like Gwenllian would run. As soon enough, you would hear Chrys speak again. "Woah, you're... pretty tall." There was a short pause, before Chrys gasped. "O-Oh my god... Um, w-who is that? I-Is she okay?" Finally, you would hear Gwenllian's voice, her speaking softly. "N-No... I-I... n-need to r-revive h-her..." Kenai spoke in a more concerned tone. "Gwenllian... you never told me about this person... wh-where did you find her?" Gwenllian would pause, before speaking more saddened tone. "I-I... t-they've been with me... t-the entire time... s-since things went bad here." Chrys and Kenai were clearly at a loss of words, given the painful silence you heard over the radio. "I... o-okay, Gwenllian... I, uhhh, guess I should... i-introduce myself, so we can q-quickly get your friend some help. Um, I'm Chrysidus Carabid, IB-79."
There was another awkward silence, before Chrys continued. "Ah, uh, we... I've heard about you from Viridian. She spoke pretty positively about you! Mentioned that you were... rather sweet and gentle." There was another silence, before Chrys spoke up more reassuringly. "Um, I... got some friends who can maybe try and help your friend out. Um, who is she, actually?" Gwenllian sniffled a bit, before speaking up again. "M-My caretaker... t-the only p-person w-who cared about me... K-Kiliane." Gwenllian would sniffle and gasp softly. "I-I... w-who are y-your friends? C-Could they r-really help me?" Chrysidus responded quickly, yet a little bit on edge for obvious reasons. "Yes. They... they are the nicest and most caring folk I know. They will try to help her out. You just... you just have to trust me with this, okay? They aren't... ordinary folk, and they may look scary to you. But, I can vouch for them with my life. I... I know that may not mean much given we only just met, but... you can trust that they will help, okay?"
There was another silence over the radio, before you heard Chrys speak directly into it. "Mikhail, Gwenllian just gave a nod. You're free to come forward." You thus told only a few of your men to join you. "I'll go with you, Mik. From the sound of things, her caretaker sounds badly injured. Maybe I can still try something." Lars said right after, followed by Lydia speaking up. "I'll join as well. Just in case you need some back-up for combat or conversation." It seemed the rest of your men were fine with the suggestion, at which point you talked into the radio and told Chrys to wait. You, Lydia and Lars would thus go down the hallway. And as you approached, you finally got a good look at Gwenllian. Like Chrys had mentioned, she was indeed pretty tall. She was easily taller than Kenai, her looking to be over 9 feet tall. She also massive horns and... well, a chest which did show that SOME of Elbrus’ usual features made it into the design.
