His technique is flawless, perfect. From the twist of his hips and shoulders to the extension of his arm, his punch is perfect. And before Kale can even reach him the wave of air pressure from his punch blows her back. Sending her flying into the air, aimed to fall well outside the boundary of the stage. Did-? Did he just eliminate Kale without even TOUCHING her? But he's not done, gathering his energy into his palm, he creates a sphere of energy, firing it up after her. Only for a bolt of lightning to intercept the attack, detonating it in a massive explosion well short of its intended target. However, using the blast as cover, you sense someone teleport up behind Kale, then teleport them both back to the arena to the opposite side of the fight with Jiren.
“Thou can't eliminate mine allies so easily, warrior!” Thor declares, stepping forward. Lightning crackling in his eyes as he then throws both hands forward, unleashing the most powerful electric storm from his fingers you've ever seen. “Have at thee!”
But as you watch, Thor's lightning doesn't even reach Jiren! It stops short as if striking a barrier of some kind, electricity crackling in the air around him and nearly forming a dome around Jiren. Thor's attack can't reach him!
“What sorcery is this?” Thor asks, clearly stunned by this development. Ending his lightning and charging in, swinging a lightning-clad right fist straight at Jiren. Who doesn't even move to defend himself until the last minute, reaching up with a single finger and stopping the blow. The arena cracks beneath Jiren's feet from the power he withstands as he blocks the God of Thunder's strike with a single finger, showing a clear difference in their power. Only for Caulifla from Hit's team, Super Saiyan God aura blazing around her to suddenly drop down out of the smoke kicked up by Jiren's blast in a flying kick, Jiren reaching up and stopping her kick with a finger as well.
