The beams struck the xenos four times, each shot finding its mark on the creature’s armored hide. But it didn't falter; instead, it roared in fury, its multi-faceted eyes glowing brighter with rage.
The aliens chitinous armor absorbed much of the impact, the thick plates deflecting or dissipating the energy from the lasgun shots. The creature seemed to shrug off the hits, its massive form continuing to advance towards the Krieg soldiers with deadly intent.
It lumbers towards K-3331 and his squad, each heavy footstep spelling imminent doom!
