Then I looked at their feet and saw the gray skin, which was definitely not human feet with those large claws and fewer fingers than humans would have. I considered jumping to feet and running for the entrance, but the 2nd one was right by the entrance, so it was not wise. Then, looking at their horned Kendo helmets I did not see a face there, just darkness and 2 yellow dots as 'eyes'... All the while, they were observing me.
All that was just too much. I was somewhere unknown, surrounded by 2 unknown creatures. They called me partner, but that didn't mean anything to Janette. "What are you! She called out. What do you want from me!" It is not smart, but she was also hysterical, and something smart was never gonna happen in that condition. Janette broke down crying.
That sent full body twitches through the creatures. "What's wrong partner? Did we do something wrong? I'm so sorry I poked you!" The previously poking Kotemon panicked. Then they were shoved aside by the 2nd and they got closer to her.
Janette was feared for the worst, but instead of violence, it hugged her. "Please calm down. I do not know how to deal with this!" They sounded pleading, like on edge of a breakdown, themselves.
Then the 1st joined up the hug. "Please stop crying; if you cry, I will cry too and promptly did just that.
It honestly took the 3 a good long while to calm down, and once they did, the creatures were now answering her previously asked questions. "As we introduced ourselves, we are called Kotemon, and we are what's called Digimon the digital monsters. You are here to fulfill a mission by a higher force."
"A mission?" Janette asked in worry, not liking the sound of that she was afraid of school tests much less missions forced on to her by kidnappers. "Can I just go back home?" She asked.
At that, Kotemon shook their heads. We do not know, all we do know is that we were made to accomplish this, and you're our partner. They then presented Janette with the same device that had fallen from the sky. It was no longer sparking with green electricity, so she supposed that's one victory she had. "And this is our mission."
The devices' screen lit up, and a holographic image of a golden wingless dragon with 6 red eyes with spikes on their back surrounding a circle of orbs floating in the air. [Chosen child, I call out to you to...] it cut off and blurred for a moment before resuming. [...seek the Deva servant remnants and reincarnations favored by my past selves before unification of 4 beasts into one...] it cut off again [dragon, mouse] another cut [sheep, rabbit] another cut [Restore the rule of me as the ultimate sovereign to receive any 2 wishes within my divine power.]Then the image of dragon flickered out.
