To elaborate a bit further:
-We have finished the first stage of our plan to ensure maximum survivability of our Federal Systems, the creation of powerful Agri-Worlds using ancient Dark Age technology
-This will provide a big boost to our population and the standard of living
-By further encouraging the prolific use of servitorization, through cultural impetus, these servitors can work the agri worlds.
-They themselves require less food and no sleep, thus even exponentially augmenting food production both on the agri worlds and in any underground food production on our hive worlds
-The next phase after that is to build vast granaries and stockpiles to store preserved food on all our hive worlds and forges, as well as more servitor farms, allowing them to withstand a siege for decades, maybe even a century of war even if isolated
-Even should this fail, in times of extreme duress, if the siege is worse or the enemy is about to overwhelm, portions of the populace can be servitorized to reduce food consumption. this is better than letting them feel the pain of starvation or capture, reduces food consumption, and makes them into soldiers who will fight to the death to give more time to the reclamation forces to arrive or seek vengeance
-We will avoid the great catastrophe of the Old Federation where the worlds could not sustain themselves through Old Night
-In time the number of servitors will greatly match the number of humans, at least in so far as we can achieve servitorization of >90%. These servitors will form a great industrial backbone to feed and manufacture, thus vastly increasing the standard of living even for the basic menial. The people will know that their ancestors fight and work for them still
