“Even the Artisans of Lucius could not create something as beautiful as that Rogal.” TalOS admitted as he gave a somewhat hearty laugh, “I am sure they would like to take some lessons from you.”
“I cannot give them due to the matters of war. If there was a time that could happen I do not yet know it.” Dorn said outright to make sure no accidental agreements would have been made.
“Such is the times of war.” TalOS answered while looking up to think, “Our brother Ferrus is much the same. There is no time for dally, we must be on the war footing.”
“I would not give into such haste, not yet.” Rogal Dorn counted as he began searching the box for another carving, “I have yet to understand the Galaxy I find myself in. A few months ago I was an Emperor, now I am the son of another Emperor. As I stand here I see change is happening rapidly. I need to grasp it, then my actions will be clear.”
“You are the one who brought a few of those changes though.” TalOS pointed out while gesturing his hand towards his brother, “You were the one to bring me here to bring a fundamental change in our relationship.”
“That is because I knew it could and should be done. Your decision was two fold, that as a vassal you will not step out of line and that our brother slighted you. Both are valid.” The Primarch took from the crate a larger piece of bone that was also contained in resin, “Our brothers will do nothing and our Father has other worries to deal with. I provided a solution where others did not.”
The Imperial Fist Primarch handed to TalOS the resin container. He took the time to look over it, realizing that instead of numerous tales upon it TalOS was looking at a diorama of battle. As he progressed through the timeline. Men died, an advantage gained, and a righteous victory was found. He also noticed that each of the men within the image had a name.
“A memorial to a battle, for those who were lost to gain victory.” TalOS put forward as he looked upon Rogal’s final image of triumph.
The Lord of Inwit nodded as he extended a hand, “Those are all the men I lost that day, with this limb being from a beast that was lost during the fighting. It is a way to remember them and make sure that their sacrifices are honored.”
