The abrupt fire of the flanking infantrymen made Rheiner brace as he closed his eyes as he ducked back into the tank, the cannon fire passed his tank but lodged themselves into the flank of two tanks of his platoon. He grit his teeth, looked around in the smoke as he made some role-calls on his platoon. "No casualties... And it looks like the threat is gone.. Phew!" Rheiner sighed a relief, then made a quip to lighten the mood. "Hah, Vynmark armor should not be underestimated!"
His goggled fogged up from the sweat, so he pulled them up when he turned to look at the Countess while his platoon remained obscured in the smoke. "Lady Countess, it looks like Peter- I mean Petrekorans are on our side now, because I can see a recon platoon pull out of the treeline they were in."
He asked on her opinion on what to do next. "Do we wait for them to link up or should we try to take that Air ship over there?" He pointed at the massive construction towering over the village up north."
