>>5765222>>5765227>>5765230You look through all the equipment here. thoroughly, piece by piece, until Beck returns with a couple squads of men. You haven’t found anything. You have to admit, you have no clue what this stuff is for, and that’s probably why you can’t figure any of it out. That droid could probably tell you, but that comes with a whole other set of unknowns. Like if it’s going to try and kill you as soon as you activate it. You shrug, and give permission for Beck and his men to begin moving everything. You hang on to that initialled datapad though. The mysterious R.S intrigues you.
They begin with the super-tactical, carefully removing it from its housing and carrying it out of the room, before placing it on a hovercart waiting outside. A few minutes alter they return, and begin dismantling and moving the stuff in here one by one, desks, shelves, boxes, machines. Looking through the doorway as they go through it, you can see the rest of the battalion is moving all the treasure, stacking the piles of Aurodium on hovercarts and taking them to the elevator. Fabian’s going to notice the extra equipment soon though, and he’ll probably have some questions. You just wish you had some answers to give him.
“What’s that Commander?”
It’s Goto, pointing at the datapad you’re holding.
>Oh, this? Just something I found. Nothing interesting on it other than some markings, R.S. You know anyone by those initials?“Yes sir, lots of people. Don’t think any of them own any super-tacs though. Or secret vaults.”
>Ah well, was worth a shot. You find anything?“No sir. Can’t tell what most of this stuff does, besides, not a lot of it is powered. The terminals are all password locked. Been going through this list of starships and their parts, but I can’t figure out anything. There’s starfighters here, a couple corvettes. Even a star courier. It’s just a list I think, maybe a shipping manifest.”
>There’s really nothing there?“Maybe. I know a lot of this stuff was built by Republic Sienar Systems, but they’re one of the bigger companies out there, so I’m not sure.”
>Sienar Systems?“A shipwright. Builds and designs ships and starfighters. Headed by Raith Sienar, or, was. The company’s-
>Wait. That name. Raith Sienar. You take out the datapad. Sure enough, on the back is the finely engraved initials of R.S.
“R.S? Sir, you don’t think that’s-
>Is there anything on that list that isn’t designed or built by Sienar Systems?Goto takes a moment to read through it all. “No sir. And this list goes back long before the war.”
You look at him. A Republic designer with a secret vault on Cato Neimoidia? And a history, going back long before these Clone Wars started. This whole thing is weirder than that Force the jedi use, and you suspect it’s only going to get stranger.
>We’re taking this to Fabian.
