“Of course it’s meaningless from you.” The berserker snarls. “Your type live for thousands of years. How could you possibly imag–”
“You have my pity. I could not possibly understand, but...” The dhampir’s voice softens. “..I promise you that leaving this world is not as scary as it sounds.”
The berserker looks ready to lance the dhampir through the gut.
