Catastrovania gave the Samurai a once over. What Krina said was really starting to sink in. She could pretty much see it in the unit's eyes. Confusion. A being that pretty much had no ideas what to do. She really did just wake up all of a sudden, retaining nothing but the most basic, instinctual information on how to operate. She probably couldn't perceive reality itself very well.
She was basically alone.
Catastrovania knew how that felt. So, she takes it upon herself to help her. She knows what she has to do. She has to become this Samurai's friend!
"...Mmmrm.. uhh, um um.. uwaaahhaaa... wwwrr..."
<span class="mu-i">"...?"</span> Samurai Summers tilted her head. <span class="mu-i">"What in the world are these sounds you're making?"</span>
"N-Nothing. Look, just come with me." She said.
Bottling up the excitement of being able to say she has an <span class="mu-i">actual</span> bonafide Samurai friend now.
"ᴹ-ᴹʸ ˡᶦᶠᵉ ʳᵉᵃˡˡʸ ᶦˢ ˡᶦᵏᵉ ᵃn ᵃnᶦᵐᵉ... ʷ-ʷᵒʷ..."
<span class="mu-i">"What?"</span>
"ʸ-ʸᵒᵘ ᵗᵒᵒ..."
<span class="mu-i">"I... beg your pardon?"</span>
"N-Nothing."
[...]
Samurai Summers could feel the stares she was getting as she walked behind Catastrovania. These people in the Bunker, they seemed to be wary of her. On guard, even.
<span class="mu-i">"Why am I receiving such glares?"</span>
"Huh? Oh. It's because you're a Samurai is all."
<span class="mu-i">"Is that a bad thing here?"</span>
"N-No! Definitely not! I mean, yes! W-Wait, no! Yes, but no! Look, it's complex. Really complex, beyond your understanding. I'll explain it later. We just got to get you... ah, 'liked', around here, first, is all."
It was for her best right now, being known as the one friendly Samurai the Psyops has ever known. And it would make it less likely that anyone picks on her or opens panic-fire if she goes wandering around. Plus, her plan would teach her some basic CULTURE while she was at it, leading Samurai Summers into the Bunker's staff bar.
Thankfully, not as crowded in the morning but she would be filming this on her phone for sure to post around. It would be viral within Psyops with enough time.
"Are you familiar with this?" Catastrovania said, pointing to a colorful device on a small stage setup within the lounge.
<span class="mu-i">"...That is a microphone."</span>
"...N-No, the thing it's attached to. It's a karaoke machine."
<span class="mu-i">"Ah! A singing box. Yes, they have these in Yongesia. I have never used one."</span> Summers said, smiling.
"Good, so then it'll be like a beginner's experience for you. Go on up there and take the mic."
<span class="mu-i">"...You want me... to sing?"</span>
"Hai. Go give karaoke a try. I'm sure it'll improve the way people look at you here if you do." She winked.
<span class="mu-i">"Ah... Alright."</span>
"Just grab the mic to activate the machine and pick your song, then it'll start."
Samurai Summers nodded, as unsure of it as she was. She marched towards the stage. Instantly, heads turned.
"Yo, check it out. Singing samurai."
"Holy shit."
Catastrovania snickered. Yes, it was all coming together now.
