(STORY EVENT: The Hot Spring Episode.)
Wayrock was a famous landmark in Siegesia. It was a kilometer tall natural stone that stood tall on the coast of Woldoria, in a popular small rain forest on the strip of land extending outward towards Catemore. The stone leaned slightly towards the heartland, away from Shengesia. The face of the stone reflected the light of the Sun in the opposite direction, so Woldorians had a popular saying that the stone was reflecting the Emperor's light right back at him, away from Woldoria. The stone came of the earth of Hainei alone, so it was popularly seen as the world opposing him.
North of Wayrock, there was a large area in the rain forest full of geysers bubbling with steaming water, descendant from Catemore's volcanic system. These geysers made made hot springs that were leisurely to visit in the area, and since it wasn't that far from Eikrise, well, the party just couldn't miss it. There were many geysers surrounded by stones and tall wooden walls and dividers, leaving only the pool of the bubbling, naturally warm waters there to enjoy.
"Aaaaahhhhh..." Seannsa sighed as she melted into the spring; "Now thissis' the best. Cann'ea not feel all the kinks'n yer muscles relaxin' and workin' themselves out in this?"
"It is better than the onsauna..." Catastrovania cooed, sinking her head into the water.
Summers, who merely sat on the side of the spring in a state of undress, plain frame exposed, tilted her head; "I cannot experience this. My body is made of synthetics and metal. I can't even feel the water itself. All I register is the heat index in my internalized temperature reader."
"Eh, you'll prob'bly come to enjoy it sum'day. I mean, 'ell, that Meta'hyooman inna' Bunker in the lab coat claims she's a lesbo even though she's all parts and metal too." Seannsa reassured her.
"Well, she actually can feel. Her synthetic flesh is embedded with sensors that allow her to replicate real flesh's ability to feel." Catastrovania pointed out.
"No needa' be pedantic. I'm sure Summ'rhs 'ere could getta' same thing."
Summers rested her chin in her metallic palm, eyes idly scanning over the bubbles that Monroe and Faeryn blew in the water for fun, and then the wispy shrubbery inching ever slightly from the air in the area. She considered something that has been bugging her ever since they departed.
"If the enemy is utilizing a replication of Seannsa's sphere in order to make themselves lucky... and to manipulate the good and bad luck of their own foes..." She began; "Hmmm..."
"Whatissit'? What's on yer mind?"
"I just can't help but think... we all came together so suddenly. It appeared as though it was bound to work out the way it did, with us decided on departing together and embarking on this quest of ours...."
She closed her eyes, frowning.
"...What if it was no mere coincidence? What if... our coming together was the result of the False Probabilities as well?" Summers poised.
