The war died down as the Eldar were slaughtered. Indeed there was great resistance within the forces present and a warning was placed out to everyone that the Eldar intended to destroy this vessel along with the Legion present.
What they came here for was retrieved even as the Eldar attempted to strike a final blow against the Imperium. News came quickly that Magnus the Red was now the owner of several tomes that the Eldar tried to keep away from his single eye’s vision. They failed, with the Thousand Sons quickly sacking the Libraries to their glee.
Word was that the Blood Angels and the White Scars had taken down the leadership of the craft. It was Sanguinius who learned of the Eldar plot and it was he who began to order the retreat back to the vessels they had arrived from. While the Angels did not take any goods with them the White Scars had their enjoyment sacking treasures they saw fit to be hung in their Lord’s court.
TalOS had enough time to record the entire wall to an Auspex systems of the Proelitor. Thus the Tech Priest had plenty of information to learn about these ‘Necrons’ who were part of the War in Heaven.
When the last of the Astartes fled the vessel, the ship that was before them suddenly began cracking in two. Then TalOS watched as all the souls upon the vessel turned themselves into raw energy that tore whatever existence that was the Craftworld asunder. Numerous amounts of them were sent to Slaanesh, but many simply do not exist anymore.
TalOS knew, from his knowledge now gained, that the Eldar had likely taken refuge within the Webway. That this was a final sacrifice done by those who were dead to save the living and the Web Way from infiltration by the Imperium of Mankind.
With the battle finished TalOS called all of his brothers to the Onus Probandi.
