AGE 750, APPROACHING PLANET YARDRAT
“I still can't sense anyone strong enough to be any real threat.” you say, the small, crystal pyramid in your lap that houses the soul of your teacher humming at a frequency you can't hear but rather feel. The ancient Sith holocron hinting at the secrets you've yet to unlock. “I even meditated on it, but didn't get a face. All I saw was a vision of me killing a few weaklings for a second or two. You don't think he just up and died, do you?”
“While it's always possible, I don't think so.” Darth Bane replies, the phantom Sith Lord appearing before you. “He's simply hiding from outsiders, avoiding Vox's people no doubt. But you know how to handle his people's defiance, should they choose not to help you.”
“Heh, you're damn right.” you say, punching your open left hand. You are Chaya, former and future Champion of Dreadzone, Super Saiyan, and student of the ancient Sith Lord, Darth Bane. For the last few months, the phantom Sith has been your only companion while you've been cooped up in here and unable to physically train. However, that doesn't mean you haven't been working. While the ship has been moving ever closer to Planet Yardrat and your confrontation with the former, still-undefeated champion of Dreadzone, “Soba the Undefeated”, you have been hard at work. With the ancient spirit's guidance, you'd begun learning from him the ancient ways and secrets of the Sith. But training time is over, as you sense the strongest ki signatures on the distant Planet Yardrat getting closer and closer you know that your little ship is about to crash down on their world. And the fun is about to begin.
“Brace yourself.” Bane says, the ship jolting in the same instant. Your hands go reflexively to the holocron, shielding it and holding the fragile-seeming pyramid close. But then everything settles down, you setting it beside your scouter as you press the door button. It begins opening with a pneumatic hiss, you stepping out and into blindingly bright light as the world becomes clear. And the first thing you see peering down upon you are several alien faces, all looking down curiously. You take the remote control for the ship and stuff it into your glove before pressing the lock and seal button, stepping out as the door starts sliding shut.
“Greetings, Planet Yardrat.” you address the beings above, but being looked down upon by such weaklings annoys you. So you float straight up into the air, your feet just over their heads as you continue speaking. “I have come to challenge the one called Soba the Undefeated!”
