>>5371155While you know that he’s not going to kill any of the innocent bystanders, you have to blink a few times as you wonder what he's up to, because there's a look in Valjean's eyes that gives you just the slightest hints of doubt. Coupled with the predatory grin that’s spread from ear-to-ear, it tells you that this is going to be anything but good.
Your body is filled with the urge to move– the urge to intercept him– but, before you can do so, he fires a few gunshots into the air.
“Here’s my ultimatum!” Valjean yells loudly, punctuating his words with another few gunshots. “You guys will listen to what I, the most wanted villain in Konigsburg, has to say, or all of you get it!” With that, he lowers his weapon to point it around the room, enough that everyone’s either paralyzed with fear or has ducked behind some table.
Still, everyone’s waiting on him to see just what Valjean has to say.
A few seconds more just to leave them all in suspense, then Valjean finally addresses his captive audience with the simple command. “Sleep~”
With that word, each and every last computer geek in the room drops to the ground like snoozing flies.
“That was the most hammy thing I’ve ever seen you do.” Julia tells him with a hand on her hip.
“Then you should've seen me in my heyday. Ham was my middle name.” Valjean responds before putting his pistol back in his holster.
