>>5689213Aha, you think you've found a loophole.
"Wel, you can't open them, but that doesn't mean I can't open the crates, can't I?" You feel Craig yawning and waking up back there.
"Where are we, Rosa?" Craig asks, groggily.
"Halfway to the Ossuary, Craig. Now go make some new friends." You let Craig off to make acquaintances with Sadie and Kett.
"Now then - what's in these crates?" You saunter over to them. The lid is secured only with some crude latches; it doesn't take you too long to unsecure one of the boxes.
Inside lay one of the most boney pile you've ever seen. "Bones? Valencio, what do you make of this?"
He took one of the bones, appraises it, and returns it back into the crate with a cautious reverence. He then repeats the process a couple more times before coming to a conclusion. "Oh my, these are relics!"
"Ah, counterfeit ones?"
"Based on the amount, it would seem so - but I've sensed the holiness of each one. They're all legitimate relics - aside from the fact that there shouldn't be three thighbones of St. Femur, let alone a dozen." Valencio noted, with a dash of confusion.
"So... we're dealing with dupes? Exact duplicates?"
"Maybe, but I cannot fathom why anyone would need these en masse, or why Father Jacquard would push them to unsuspecting people via, uh, guerilla orphan marketing."
While there's a lot of questions you'd like someone to answer here, one came to mind: what do you do with three crates' worth of holy bones?
>CHOOSE ONE>□ Leave them alone with the orphans>□ Take some of them>□ Buy some of them - Nemo's got money, right?>□ Bury them>□ Other (fill in)
