In his haste to be free of you (and not risk more limbs) the kraken quickly detaches all his tentacles from you. In such a rushed and imprecise effort however, he further tears more chunks from your body with the many hooked suckers of his tentacles. It's not as bad as the bite, but it's still a source of great pain for you, as you drift back to the rocky ground.
But you are drifting, finally free once again. You can barely move at first from the agony of almost being pulled apart... probably a limb or two dislocated, flesh and muscle torn beneath. But you're not out of the fight yet.

The blood frenzy is the biggest drive in you now, as you regain some strength and your senses. More at least than the kraken himself, as by the time the cloud of ink subsides you are weakly standing once again, while he cowers back against the sea mount. Though a cornered beast can be the most dangerous, and he has certainly given more than he has taken.
<span class="mu-b">"You are a tough one, I will give you that. Enough at least, to be king... of these wretched fish-wives!"</span>
But you are Tanaloa, the legendary sea monster of divine nature. For all the punishment the kraken dealt you, you can take it and more, while your blows dealt here and there have left him shaken. You know your death still lingers close, and much more wrong moves could spell your end. But as you grab and heft one of the toppled columns of the temple to wield as a weapon, you know your victory also lingers close. Certainly in your life you've faced and fared much worse than this... all that matters is, can you do it now?
>What do you do?
