You take a few steps over to see it leads to an apartment door that's slightly crooked looking. You tilt your head to analyze what's going on here.
There's tiny splatters of blood on the floor, a messed up door, and there were signs of an argument going on. Like there was a struggle.
[PERSON OF INTEREST] The men in silver, they would just ambush you and suffocate you in their thousand arms. This chemist may be stronger than your Handler implies.
You try to open the door in question but, as expected, it's locked. You're pretty sure this is Benjamin Aaron's apartment, though.
You snap your fingers to get Lex to come over. With a quick text message and a few minutes of waiting, Alexis arrives shortly after.
"So! We finally found his apartment, eh?" Lex seems really eager. If you had to suspect, he wants to break the door open.
"Locked, huh? Perhaps it would be wise to try lockpicking it?" Alexis chimes in. "It might take a while and time may be essential here. But I rather not have the tenants...ask questions we don't want to answer."
So, how do you want to handle the locked door?
>"Lex, break that fucker open." (Auto success, given his high VIOLENCE. However, it will put you on a time crunch because of the noise. You will get a penalty to your COGNIZANCE rolls to search it)
>"Alexis, go ahead and try lockpicking it." (TALENT check with Alexis' dice, DC 10. Succeed and you get in without anyone noticing. Failure may result in the door's lock getting fucked up..)
>[ANOMALOUS POWER] Just rip the doorknob off with your mind.Your allies WILL notice your power usage, though. (WILLPOWER CHECK: DC 11. Succeed, you save time compared to the other methods and gain a bonus to COGNIZANCE rolls to search it.. FAILURE: You'll rip the door clean off and draw way too much attention.)
>You found it, you can put a pin on it and do something else. (Talk to Izanata? Visit a location of interest? Talk to the other tenants? Write in.)
