>>6292411Queen Roza has some headaches coming now that a third city has emerged, one of such rebellious character. She feels she has missed an opportunity to not strike a deal with Sasha, as now she has to find who is in charge of Vermillion Grave. But at least she has plenty of time to figure this out, since there isn't likely to be a war anytime soon, as Adenai may find fewer allies if they try attacking us again.
>Action 1: Farming southwest of Emberglen, near the Rose Garden. As the population increases, more farms are made to feed and clothe the people. The inner banks of the rivers are preferred, as the river naturally creates a gap in the canopies, allowing sunlight to reach down before even the first tree is felled, even more so along the concave bank. The lands around the Rose Garden sees plenty of new farmsteads appear.
>Action 2: Prospecting for minerals southeast of Vermillion Grave. Hopefully not more silver. While the issue of adequate tools could be alleviated by the presence of a forge, a bigger problem looms: The shortage of iron. We have been reliant on imported iron, and it will not be able to support our growing nation, we need our own source of iron. Thus, a prospecting push is made near Vermillion Grave, hopefully it'll give us a metal other than silver.
>Tithe: Jungle Tax.While the people of the south has a harsh living in those untamed lands, the jungle wall is a boon in many unexpected ways. Not only does it stifle cursed invasions, but the wood itself is a valuable curiosity for the nobles up north. Thus, the southerners living near the jungle can make a living selling this wood.
>Military: Vermillion Guard move to the cursed south. The army of Vermillion Grave moves into position, ready to halt any advances by the denizens of the cursed lands. This army consists of a lot of Red Hood Vagrants, so being poorly equipped is not that unfamiliar to them, but they have had success against far better equipped enemies in the Domo than the what the cursed lands currently offer.
