>>5212568I don't believe the denizens of The Wood, or at least not many of them are a solidified force working together. Based upon The Smiler, The White Thing, and The Squid they all seem to be just creatures drawn to or simply prowling around this place. It's hard to imagine The Squid, which seem pretty fleshy, working with something as plush as this thing.
As it stands we really have no clue what might upset The White Thing. All we know for sure is that it's friendly, we have literally zero other information about it, like most of the odd creatures lurking about.
Speaking of weird creatures. we probably should have pocketed a few of the organs from The Smiler before flushing him actually to see if they were just normal ones but mini or had any weird properties.
I would like to propose we keep around any parts we obtain from creatures of The Wood we fight off in the future. You never know what throwing them into the jar on the Remnant machine will do.
