>Null, Bond Siro, ask about her Father
Null shakes her head at the request, muttering something incoherent to herself, but moves to the containment cell without further question.
It's oddly quiet in the cell. The only noise heard is sand scrapping against metal.
The bandaged agent pulls out a small piece of rock candy from her pocket.
ETF-O: Sirocco? Are you here, honey?
The storm stops dead at the sound of the woman's voice.
ANOMALY: Oh! Oh, yeah, fine fine. Totally fine.
Null makes a worried 'hm' before sitting down on the floor.
ETF-O: I would like to talk to you, if that's okay.
ETF-O: I've heard that you had a father, correct? What was he like?
The storm sighs. Not out of discomfort but of relief.
ANOMALY: Oh, dad? It's been so long since I've seen him, ehehe.
ANOMALY: He didn't really like me leaving the house. He didn't think it was safe.
ETF-O: How so? I can't claim the outside is great but I want to hear why.
ANOMALY: I dunno.
ANOMALY: He was so scared when he couldn't see me, even for a second.
ANOMALY: I don't know why. He was always like that after...
ETF-O: After what, sweetheart?
The agent tosses the candy over to the storm. It quickly gets devoured.
ANOMALY: ...after that storm. It was so cool, you know? I wanted to see it.
ETF-O: Curiosity, huh? You probably wondered what all of the noise was, right?
ANOMALY: Yeah! It was cool and swirled and sandy and cool!
ANOMALY: I just went out to play! That's all I wanted to do!
Do not leave until the storm has fully cleared. No search parties will be sent if you get lost.
ANOMALY: Then they cooped me up as soon as they found me! No games, no more outside, it sucked!
ETF-O: Dear. I'm not sure how to say this but...
ETF-O: Maybe there's a reason why they didn't want you out there.
ETF-O: I know you're young but you have to understand. He only wanted what was best for you, didn't he?
ANOMALY: I...
The storm goes quiet and stops dead in its tracks.
ANOMALY: I just wanted a normal life. I wanted to play with kids my age. He kept me inside no matter what.
ANOMALY: Day? No. Night? No. Warm? No. Cold? No.
ANOMALY: Was it wrong of me to just want a moment of fresh air? To grow up?
ANOMALY: But I'm trapped again. The door won't open, no matter how much I try.
The storm picks back up but doesn't speak any further.
ETF-O: I'm...sorry about your circumstances, Siro. I know that this isn't the best for you.
ETF-O: Don't take this as condescension or babying you but we truly want what's best for you.
ETF-O: Each person here is trapped in their own way. I am trapped myself, in my own way.
ETF-O: All you can do is keep moving forward. Keep hoping for something better.
ANOMALY: Thanks for...listening to me, at least, miss.
ETF-O: Of course. I'm always here to talk.
Null gets up and exits the containment cell.
