>>5706214This must be Manus. He fits the description that Ronan gave you at least. He was the second fighter Leif planned to enter in the trials. He was a Berserker of unrivaled strength. According to Ronan, one day, Manus found an axe on the battlefield. It was a weapon of tremendous power, capable of leveling a house in a single swing. The weapon was strong, but it was also cursed. For some reason, the axe had the power to reflect its owner’s attacks back upon him. That wasn’t all though. The weapon exuded a dreadful aura. It could reflect not just its owner’s attacks, but the attacks of those who it came into combat with. The people of Sreng interpreted this to mean that either Manus or his opponent was in favor with the spirits. You’d never heard of such a weapon existing before. Frankly, it all sounded rather stupid to you. What worth was a weapon that would attack its owner?
