This artist has a lot of scenery concepts. Scroll down or search for something called project 77 (was this a reference to star wars 1977?) it was apparently some cancelled videogame. A lot of futuristic cityscapes. He also does some Halo art. Some other films you could try using for visual reference are Elysium lol matt damon, Chappie, those Love Death Robots sci-fi short films by David Fincher eg "Lucky 13"(it is about a gunship) etc.
